Yogurt clay mask for sensitive skin

What?! A clay mask for sensitive skin? I know, I know... most clays are very drying but not this one. I promise. White kaolin clay is very gentle. It absorbs toxins but does not draw too much oil. It is suitable for those with dry and sensitive skin. White kaolin clay softens the skin and brightens the complexion. Clay also gives thicker texture for our mask. This recipe calls for some natural yogurt and oatmeal. Natural yogurt (the one with probiotics) contains lactic acid which helps to dissolve dead skin and tighten pores. Colloidal oatmeal soothes and moisturizes the skin. Combined with some water these ingredients make a wonderful mask.
You will need:
- 1 tsp water
- 1 tsp colloidal oatmeal
- 1 tbsp natural yogurt
- 1 tbsp Kaolin White clay
Making this mask is very easy. Just add water, colloidal oatmeal and natural yogurt to a little bowl and whisk well until fully combined. Slowly add clay whisking continuously. There is no “right” consistency for this mask so feel free to add more of one or the other ingredient to reach the consistency that you like. Keep this mask on your face for 10-15 min, rinse and apply moisturizer.
